A Brief Story About Us
Welcome to the website of our cattery toyger kittens for sale . We are a small breeder of Toygers in a family environment in USA. Fascinated by felines, our passion led us to want a wild-looking cat. This is how we discovered the Toyger, a very rare breed in USA. Wowed by her gorgeous dress, we did some research to find out more. We fell in love! This house tiger has all the appearance of a big cat, but retains its gentle, playful and affectionate character.
Raising Toygers is a great adventure that we started in 2010. We both have full-time jobs, as an electrician and a social worker. We breed in addition to our job, for the love of felines! We have been a couple for 20 years and we have always had cats in our daily lives. They have all marked our journey, with their unique character and personality. Respect, quality and professionalism are at the heart of our concerns, both towards our cats and our customers. We hope to make you fall under the spell of the Toygers as it was the case for us!

Origins Of The Toyger
The Toyger is a fascinating breed to discover. It's a domestic cat with no wild blood. His name comes from a contraction between "toy" and "tiger" since it looks like a toy tiger. However, it is important to specify that no hybridization has been made with a tiger. It was developed in 1980 by the American Judy Sugden, whose goal was to find in a domestic cat all the physical characteristics of the tiger without having wild blood. Originally, she began by selecting cats with specific marking. Then she introduced domestic Bengals (far from the first generations) to have fur with warmer colors and a big muscular body.
The Toyger was recorded in 1993 by the International Cat Association (TICA) as in "evaluation", and was accepted into the league in 2007. It has also been recognized by the LOOF (Official Book of Feline Origins) since January 2016. We are in the process of getting it recognized by the Cats Canada Cats. The Toyger is a rare breed and there are still only a few breeders in the world.
